Landlord guidance is high-stakes. We aim to make it easier to understand without pretending that a general article can decide an individual legal, tax or financial question.

How we publish

Primary sources first

We prioritise legislation, GOV.UK, HMRC, the Health and Safety Executive and local-authority guidance.

Current and proposed rules are separated

A consultation, roadmap or policy intention is labelled differently from a legal duty already in force.

Dates and jurisdiction are visible

Every guide states when it was reviewed and where it applies. LandlordAssist v1 content focuses on England.

Product status stays explicit

Live product capabilities, landlord beta features and Agency Edition pilot scope are described separately.

Corrections are welcomed

Material corrections are made promptly and the review date is updated after the underlying source has been checked.
